Delivery presets and the media pool: render straight from the browser timeline

Delivery is where a browser studio usually falls apart. Here the media pool, the timeline and the presets are one system: pick the destinations once, queue the renders and download masters that already match each platform.

  • One media pool for every page
  • A preset per destination, rendered in one queue
  • Masters, broadcast files and stems from the same timeline

Media pool

The media pool every page reads from

Clips, bins, metadata, timelines and versions live in one pool per project. The Cut, Edit, Colour, Fusion and Fairlight pages never copy media, they reference the same source files.

  • Bins, smart bins and metadata columns for large shoots
  • Clip attributes for frame rate, aspect and audio mapping
  • Relink and proxy management per clip or per bin
  • Project versions and archives for long form work
Presets

A preset for every destination, not one export for all

Each platform wants its own container, bitrate, colour tags and audio layout. Save that knowledge as presets and the render becomes a checkbox list instead of a spreadsheet.

  • Web presets for YouTube and Vimeo style H.264 and H.265 up to 2160p
  • Vertical and square social cuts from the same timeline
  • ProRes 422 HQ masters for hand off and archive
  • HDR10 masters with PQ and 1000 nit metadata
  • Audio only presets for stems and mixdowns
Render queue

Queue every version, then go and do something else

Add the destinations to the queue, watch the progress per job and get notified when each file is ready. Credits are only spent on the renders you actually start.

  • Multiple presets queued from one timeline in a single pass
  • Progress, remaining time and per job status in the queue
  • Priority rendering on higher plans for long form jobs
  • Download the files or hand the project to a collaborator
Hand off and archive

Masters that leave the studio cleanly

A delivery is finished when someone else can pick it up. Files carry their colour and loudness metadata, and a project archive keeps the timeline, the grade and the mix together.

  • Colour tags and loudness metadata travel in the file
  • Project archives for versioning and long term storage
  • The same timeline opens in the desktop studio for finishing
  • Delivery presets are reusable across projects

Frequently asked questions

Deliver page questions that come up before a first render.

What is the media pool?

It is the project library: every clip, bin, timeline and version in one place, shared by all of the pages so no step in the workflow needs its own copy of the media.

Do renders use credits?

Yes. Each render, proxy generation and heavy effects pass draws on the monthly credit allowance included in your plan. Credits refresh each billing period.

How many versions can I queue at once?

Queue as many presets as the job needs and they render in order. Higher plans get priority in the render queue for long form and broadcast work.

Can I download the master files?

Every finished job can be downloaded from the queue, and the presets keep the names and folder structure you set for each destination.

Can I archive a whole project?

Project archives keep the media pool, timeline, grade, Fusion graphs and audio mix together so a job can be reopened or moved to the desktop studio later.
