01Information we collect
Account information from Google sign in: your name, email address, profile image and Google account identifier. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Project information you create in the studio: media you upload, timelines, grade node trees, Fusion graphs, audio sessions, render presets and export settings.
Usage information: pages opened, render jobs started, credits consumed, browser and device type, and error diagnostics that help us keep the studio stable.
Billing information: plan, subscription status, credit balance, invoice and payment identifiers. Card details are entered directly with the payment provider and never reach our servers.
02How we use information
To create and secure your account, open your projects and keep the media pool available across your devices.
To run renders, proxy generation, effects and delivery jobs, and to meter the credits each plan includes.
To process payments, prevent fraud and answer billing questions.
To fix defects, measure performance and improve the editing, colour, audio and delivery tools.
03Media you upload
You keep ownership of every clip, audio file, graphic and project you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, transcode, process and render that media so the studio can do its job.
Media is stored so that your projects open again later. Deleting a project removes its media from active storage, subject to the short backup window described below.
Render outputs are written to storage we operate so you can download or deliver them. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of finished masters.
04Sharing
We share data with the processors that run the service: cloud hosting and storage, the payment provider that processes your subscription, and email or support tools.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share your media with advertisers.
We may disclose information when the law requires it, when it is necessary to protect the service or our users, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
05Retention
Account and project data is kept while your account is open. When you close your account we delete projects, media and render outputs within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or fraud prevention.
Server logs and diagnostics are kept for a shorter period and are deleted or aggregated after that window.
06Your choices
You can export or delete your projects and download your media at any time from the studio.
You can request a copy of your account data, correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to support@davinciresolve.lol.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from billing settings. Cancelling stops future renewals and keeps the plan active until the end of the paid period.
07Security and children
Traffic is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted and secrets are stored in a managed secret store. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your Google account protected with a strong password and two factor authentication.
The studio is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
08Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the studio changes. Material changes are announced on this page with a new effective date.
